History History
In 1933, George W. Merck, the son of our company's founder, dedicated our first research laboratories. Since then, Merck & Co., Inc. has built a global organization that ranks among the best worldwide in breakthrough medical research.
Merck Frosst MSD in Philippines

Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) Philippines operated in the Philippines after World War II and maintained a manufacturing plant along United Nations Avenue in Manila until 1975. On January 1, 1995, after a 20-year absence, Merck & Co., Inc. returned and formed Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) Philippines. With an initial staff of 17, MSD has grown to close to 400 employees, 280 of which are Professional Healthcare Representatives all over the country.
