Global research-based pharmaceutical company Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), through the PHAP Cares Foundation, recently donated 27,000 boxes of MSD's Simvastatin to the UP-PGH Department of Medicine for the benefit of its indigent patients with hypercholesterolemia or high cholesterol.
The donation was part of MSD’s mission of Pagpapahalaga sa Kapwa to bring medicines to people who need them. Locally, the Company has been partnering with communities and non-governmental agencies to make medicines and vaccines more accessible to Filipinos.
